Sablik has also worked as a creator, writer and artist in the comic industry. As Top Cow’s Publisher, Filip Sablik managed all of Top Cow’s publishing business including editorial, marketing, production, license coordination and digital distribution. He then transitions to publishing by moving to Top Cow Productions in 2006 as Vice-President of Marketing & Sales, before being promoted to Publisher in 2008. Sablik is a six year veteran of Diamond Comic Distributors, where he rose to Assistant Manager of the Purchasing Department. In this role Matt was a local tastemaker during the comics-to-Film/TV boom of the early aughts, coordinated events for the likes of Disney and MTV, and raised money for the CBLDF by throwing “Y the Last Party,” the red carpet finale party for Y: The Last Man.Īs a writer, Matt created the comic book series FREELANCERS and created the comic book series DAY MEN, which is currently in development for TV.Īs BOOM!
